1st Annual Transcona High School Hockey Skills Competition

What a Success!!

The 1st Annual Transcona High School Hockey Skills Competition was a great success!!! With over 300+ attendees, they community is already looking forward to next year! Funds raised for charities was close to $2000!! Amazing!

The 3 rival high schools went through a variety of skills that tested their accuracy, stamina & sense of pride when messing up a shot or two in front of their classmates & teachers. The hockey players from each high school team were randomly chosen to play on either of the 3 teams, yet, individually collected points for their own school.

In the end, College Pierre Elliott Trudeau, was the winning school. A trophy was donated by B & B Trophies The winner of TV which was donated by Goodfellow & Goodfellow & Lind Real Estate Ltd, was Ron Marchenski!!! And the winner of the 50/50 draw was our very own Lori Lind, who donated her winnings of $130 back to the fundraiser. Great job Lori!!
